Me, myself, and I.

Hey, my name is Cameron Pierson; I'm 20 years old, and I'm a full-time student at Sheffield Hallam University. I study BSc (Hons) Interactive Media with Animation, while also holding down a part time job in a fruit shop!

Prior to coming to university I attended Peterborough Regional College where I completed a BTEC National Diploma for IT Practitioners, specialising in Software Development. During my time there I developed my skills in multiple scripting languages ranging from HTML and PHP to C# and Actionscript. I was awarded a triple distinction, the highest grade attainable. I'm a hardworking, organised, and dependable person with good leadership skills.

At current I'm looking to improve my web design skills and have chosen the following options for my second year at university accordingly: Web Design in Context and Browser Based Application Design. Still not 100% sure what I want to do in the future but then again who is?

My proudest achievement so far was to create a fully working Xbox 360 game as part of my final year project at college. The game consists of around 2,500 lines of code and a short screen-cast can be found in my portfolio.
